Mentors in this list are available to all district
members. A person reviews the list for a particular qualification or
area of interest, and select a mentor or mentors to contact. Some
example uses of this program are.
To explore a new field by asking mentors what is
required to qualify, where missions are conducted, what challenges and
satisfaction the mentors experienced.
To seek help on some difficult tasks in the sign-off
process for a certain qualification.
To obtain hands-on practices on some tasks.
In-depth guidance on subjects one has difficulty with.
Division or flotilla officers to consult, and exchange
ideas and knowledge with mentors.
Initial contact to a mentor is by email. Some issues can be
resolved by subsequent emails or phone calls. Face-to-face are by arrangement
between the parties. One may want to pick a mentor geographically close for the
latter. Click on the below Divisions to see their list of mentors.
This program is not intended to substitute mentoring at
division or flotilla level, rather, an augmentation. Whenever possible,
mentoring at your own unit is encouraged.
